The Mancelona Torch wanted a good start from Scott Goff -- and he delivered one. The result was a 6-2 Mancelona win over the Matlacha Manatees at Torch Field. The last-place Manatees dropped to 10-36.

Mancelona got a big at-bat from Nawalapitiya, Sri Lanka native Katama Guntur, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a 2-run double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Torch ahead, 3-0.

"I really like what we did out there today," Guntur said after the game.
