The Columbia River Rats did just enough to sneak past the Laredo Hawks, 1-0, at Columbia Stadium. Columbia pitcher Haden Manning, in particular, had a standout performance. The winner was Manning. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Lang Ren. Ramón Acosta recorded the save for Columbia, his 8th of the season.
Jean-Jacques François Jacques-Jean broke a 0-0 tie in the bottom of the third with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the River Rats in front, 1-0. For the game, Jacques-Jean went 1-3.
