Washington Tumbles Again, Falls, 4-0, to Grand Forks
|
Andrew James brought his A-game to help Grand Forks defeat the Washington Generals, 4-0. Tom Sparks earned the save for Grand Forks, his 1st of the year. The slumping Generals have dropped 7 in a row.
The Caterpillars got a big hit from catcher Ryan Witt. Facing Washington pitcher Raph Liberato in the bottom of the fifth, Witt pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 5th home run of the season put the Caterpillars ahead, 4-0.
"This game will humble you at times and you've got to buck up and deal with it," said Washington manager Kyu-cheol Kye.
