Bullets Beaten By White Walkers, 5-2
|
Buffalo registered a win at Beyond the Wall by beating the Baltimore Bullets, 5-2. Pitcher Vincent Jones was one reason why the White Walkers triumphed. Jones yielded no runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 3-9. Buffalo has now won 4 straight.
Andrés Durán had a big 2-run home run for the White Walkers in the bottom of the third inning. With Buffalo leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a sinker from Eddie Daniel, the 13th overall pick in the 2050 draft, and punished it. The result was his 21st home run of the season, which put the White Walkers on top, 4-0.
"It feels good to get this one," Durán told the Buffalo Observer.
