Ángel Soto left his imprint on the 4-2 Boston win against the New Orleans Voodoo. Soto, who is tied for 6th in the PL in runs scored with 59, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Boston goes to 69-37. The win puts them 8½ games up in their division.

Soto had a game-changing double in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch splitter from Cipriano Rosas, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Patriots a 3-1 lead. It was the 17th double of the year for Soto.

Soto attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
