Belleville third baseman Brian Walls made his presence felt in the 8-2 Bulls triumph over the Mancelona Torch. Walls was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Belleville now has a record of 25-24 with the win.
Belleville used the hitting of Curt Clayton to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bulls on top, 4-1. For the game, Clayton had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
