Bush Pilots Topple Yellows, 5-1

The home crowd had a good time watching the Yucca Valley Yellows and Alaskan Bush Pilots get after it.
Alaskan Bush Pilots starter Chuck Franz was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Yucca Valley Yellows, 5-1. Alaskan is 9th in the Menard's A with a record of 23-28.
Roberto Valentín hit a 2-run home run off Brian Quarles in the bottom of the first, which put the Bush Pilots ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Valentín had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Franz told the Alaskan Citizen.
