Mancelona first baseman Terry Bollea helped his team beat the Belleville Bulls, 7-5. Bollea went 4 for 4 for the Torch. Ernest Pollard nailed down the save. The wins continue to add up for Mancelona. The latest makes it 7 in a row.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Frank Douglas came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Belleville pitcher Lou Carlson, he hit a 0-1 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Mancelona on top, 6-5.

"This team keeps racking up the wins," said Torch manager Kevin Hancock.
