Mangione slugs 2 home runs, Leads Rocketeers to Win
Rocketeers second baseman Luigi Mangione put his stamp on his team's 3-0 win over the Boston Patriots. Mangione went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Seattle in the contest. Bill Hayes earned his 5th save, after closing out the game. With the loss, Boston drops to 7-4.

Seattle took a 3-0 lead on Mangione's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jim Everhart in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Seattle to the win.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Mangione.
