The Boston Patriots topped the Seattle Rocketeers, 5-2, in United States Premier League action at Boeing Dome. The standout performance belonged to Boston pitcher and Milford, Connecticut, native Jim Everhart. Boston has a record of 6-5.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Patriots grabbed the lead when Andrés López rapped a two-out double. Boston was trailing 2-1, when López hit a bases-clearing double off Alex Nelson to put his team in front, 4-2.

"Jim's as tough as he is talented," said Boston manager Brian Fahie.
