Billy Goats Tag Thunder with 9-3 Loss
The Colorado Billy Goats topped the Toronto Thunder, 9-3, at Thunder Field. Colorado left fielder Juan Raspaldo was a spark plug for the offense. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. Colorado reliever Todd Turner picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Gary Smith absorbed the loss. Colorado is 7th in the Premier League with a record of 51-56.

Colorado used the timely hitting of Jeff Hines to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Billy Goats on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It never gets old," said Raspaldo. "Winning, that is."
