Airmen Lose By a Run at Laredo
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Laredo Hawks and the Alameda Airmen, pitcher Ted Green was the difference between victory and defeat. The Laredo right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-1 Hawks win. Green yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5.
