Bulls Win, 8-1, at Idaho Falls

The Belleville Bulls downed the Idaho Falls Chukars, 8-1, at Idaho Falls Park. Stellar pitching by Ed Baker had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2056 draft, handcuffed his opponent all game. Belleville has a record of 32-26, placing them 4th in the Menard's A.
Harry Monroe had a big 3-run home run for the Bulls in the top of the first inning. With Belleville leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from Karl Roberts, who is tied for 6th in the 3A in wins with 5, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Bulls on top, 6-0.
"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said Baker.
