Generals Deal Blue Dragons 3-2 Loss
|
Jason Herbert pitched well, but his team, the Levittown Blue Dragons, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Washington Generals in 10 innings. Arturo Alvarado picked up the save for Washington, his 1st of the year. The Generals improved their record to 24-35 by beating Levittown.
Washington used a timely hit from Dwight Miller to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Generals ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.
"The other side played a good game," said Levittown manager Tony Sánchez. "You tip your cap to them."
