Herrera Now 3-8 After Subduing Voodoo
|
Seattle picked up a win at The Voodoo Lounge, bumping off the New Orleans Voodoo, 2-1. Pitcher Rodrigo Herrera was a major reason the Rocketeers emerged victorious. The win elevated the Rocketeers to 62-45.
Herrera, a native of El Mirage, Arizona, was dealing all game. He kept New Orleans hitters off-balance, while giving the Rocketeers 8 quality innings. Herrera threw 103 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 6.
Herrera said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
