Clayton Hits 2 home runs in Bulls Win
|
A good performance from left fielder Curt Clayton helped the Belleville Bulls defeat the Walla Walla Walleye, 6-1. Clayton was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Bulls. Jorge Gracía was the winner. Over 8.1 innings, he yielded 1 run on 7 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts. The 7th-place Walleye have lost 5 consecutive games.
