Bulls Rally Late to Clip Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls Expos and Belleville Bulls provided some drama for the home crowd.
The Belleville Bulls faced a tough opponent in Niagara Falls pitcher Robinson Abonia, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Belleville Field by a final score of 4-3. Abonia went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The Belleville win streak is now 3 games.
The Bulls beat the Expos in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Chuck Gray produced in the bottom of the eighth. Batting against Brian Martin, Gray gave his team the lead, 4-3, when he hit a run-scoring single.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Gray, "one at-bat at a time."
