Rocketeers Deal Thunder 6-3 Defeat
The Seattle Rocketeers defeated the Toronto Thunder, 6-3, in part because of first baseman Luigi Mangione. Mangione went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs for the Rocketeers. Bill Hayes got the save, his 2nd in 2 chances. The Rocketeers go to 52-56, putting them 7th in the Premier League.

Mangione got the Rocketeers off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Mangione.
