The Idaho Falls Chukars racked up a win at The Cave at Levittown, bumping off the Levittown Blue Dragons, 5-3, in 11 innings. Karl Roberts, who started for Idaho Falls, pitched effectively for his team. Mario Happ got the save, the 12th for him this season. Idaho Falls is 6th in the Menard's A with a record of 34-32.
The most important at-bat for Idaho Falls came in the top of the 11th inning, when third baseman Dani Soto stroked a 1-0 fastball to center for a run-scoring single, putting Idaho Falls up, 4-3.
"There's no quit in this team," said Chukars manager Robby Long.
