Shredders Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
The Hollywood Shredders trumped the Mexico City Blue Demons, 4-3, at Condor Nest. Hollywood left fielder Kuniaki Yoshioka was terrific. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win belonged to Kyle Chambers in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Tom Johnston took the loss for Mexico City. The 8th-place Shredders have won 5 straight.

Yoshioka had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 changeup from Tom Johnston, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Shredders a 4-3 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Yoshioka.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Yoshioka.
