Levittown pitcher Orlando Díaz had a large part in his team subduing the Rocky Mountain Vibes, 5-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Díaz yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 9. His record improves to 7-2. The save went to Bill Thomas, his 10th this season.

The Vibes had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Blue Dragons going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old second baseman Grant Bennett came to the plate. Bennett hit a solo home run on a 0-1 fastball from Rocky Mountain hurler Seong-ho Yang. It was Bennett's 4th home run of the year.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Díaz told the Levittown Observer.

Levittown now has a record of 41-26 with the win.
