Everhart Leads Patriots to 5-1 Win over Bullets
|
The Boston Patriots called upon starter Jim Everhart, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Baltimore Bullets, 5-1. Boston is now 8-3.
Everhart delivered a quality start for Boston. The 6-foot-1 right-hander allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
"Jim was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Boston manager Brian Fahie.
