Bulls Knock Off Airmen at Belleville Field

Both offenses were relatively subdued at Belleville Field. Fortunately for the Belleville Bulls, though, António Espinosa was able to deliver in the clutch. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, to lead his team past the Alameda Airmen, 3-1. Belleville is now 32-36, Alameda 39-29.
Espinosa contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Belleville get the win.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Belleville manager Rafael Avelar.
