Cattlemen Lose to Lighthouse, 3-2
|
The 2063 season is off to a good start for the Long Island Lighthouse. The hometown Lighthouse knocked off the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 3-2, at The Lighthouse. Long Island pitcher Ken Harding paced his team to the win. Larry Alexander earned the save for Long Island, his 1st.
Long Island took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Cody Hanson hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Lighthouse.
"We've got a great group of guys," Harding said, "and we're having fun right now."
