Chukars Prevail, 3-2, Over Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls got a terrific game from second baseman Walt Hernández. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Idaho Falls, 3-2. Hernández went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. The Chukars' win now puts them at 46-24.

In the bottom of the sixth, Idaho Falls catcher Ian Gray put his team on top. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 3rd home run of the year. Niagara Falls pitcher Chad McDonald served it up. Just like that, the Chukars were ahead, 3-2.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Gray told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
