Manatees Rally to Nose Past Idaho Falls

Matlacha and Idaho Falls duked it out and the Manatees came out victorious.
Starting pitcher Brady Thomas pitched well enough to help the Matlacha Manatees beat the Idaho Falls Chukars, 4-3. The winner was Matlacha reliever Andrew Thomas, now 2-2. The loser was Mario Happ.
Matt Jones chipped in a solo home run for Matlacha in the top of the ninth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"Brady gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Matlacha skipper Howard Lee.
Matlacha sits in 10th place in the Menard's A at 31-40.
