The Mancelona Torch took Rubén Quintana's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Hawks Field. The final score had Mancelona getting past the Hawks, 7-5, in 10 innings. Quintana over 7 innings allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 8. Mancelona reliever Will Stephens snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Andy Lewis shouldered the loss. Javier Martínez recorded his 1st save for Mancelona.

Mancelona needed the clutch hitting of Jerome Miller to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Torch on top, 7-4. For the game, Miller had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
