The Huntington Hermit Crabs wiggled past the Matlacha Manatees, 5-4, at The Shell. The win was highlighted by the performance of Huntington pitcher Luke Kipling. Huntington reliever César Contreras snagged the win, upping his record to 3-1. Mike Hayes shouldered the loss. Huntington has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, Sam McElroy wanted to seize the moment and deliver a clutch hit. Matlacha pitcher Mike Hayes had other ideas. He wanted to end the Huntington rally. What happened next? With one out, McElroy hit a sacrifice fly -- and the Hermit Crabs erupted in celebration.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," McElroy said.
