Bush Pilots Reel In 4-2 Win
|
The Alaskan Bush Pilots converted a terrific effort from starter José Abonga into a win over the Laredo Hawks at Bush Pilots Park. The Bush Pilots won the game by a final score of 4-2. Richie Davis earned save number 16 this season. At 41-32, the Bush Pilots are currently 5th in the Menard's A.
Alaskan third baseman James Hunt contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 74th hit of the season and put the Bush Pilots ahead, 3-0.
"José made his pitches," said Alaskan manager Arturo Montáñez.
