The Pittsburgh Kingfishers put one in the win column with an opening day 3-2 triumph over the Mexico City Blue Demons. The crowd at Pittsburgh Grounds watched Richard Miller put on a fine performance. The win went to Ray Mitrou in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Mark Bowden took the loss.
