Matlacha Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Though he had a stellar game, Onye Paulino could not prevent his team, the Caldwell Chiefs, from losing, 8-6, to the Matlacha Manatees. Paulino went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Matlacha is now 33-41, Caldwell 35-39.

Matlacha got a clutch hit from Henry Symeonis. The right fielder socked a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"The crowd was juiced," said Symeonis.
