López Impressive in 6-2 Rocky Mountain Triumph
|
The Rocky Mountain Vibes knocked off the Washington Generals, 6-2, in M3L Single A action at Bellevue Field. Rocky Mountain pitcher and Limón, Costa Rica, native Juan López had an outstanding performance. The slumping Generals have dropped 6 in a row.
López was in the zone all game. He frustrated Washington hitters while giving the Vibes 7.1 innings of quality work. López threw 90 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 7 punchouts.
"Juan was throwing free and easy," said Rocky Mountain manager Jaime Solís.
