Niagara Falls Nets 3-2 Win Versus Generals
|
Niagara Falls turned a fine outing from starter Juan González into a victory over the Washington Generals at Waterfall Park. The final score was 3-2 in 10 innings. Niagara Falls has 3 straight wins, Washington 3 straight losses.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Generals allowed the Expos to score the winning run.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Niagara Falls manager Joe Gregory said.
