Pontiac took on Belleville in front of a lively crowd.

Getting a good performance from right fielder Ryan Coleman, the Pontiac Godfathers defeated the Belleville Bulls, 9-2. Coleman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Godfathers. With the win, Pontiac goes to 39-38, while the Bulls fall to 42-35.

With Pontiac leading 5-1 in the bottom of the eighth, Coleman batted against Belleville pitcher Iván Morín. Coleman hit a fastball to center for a grand slam home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Godfathers on top, 9-1.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Coleman told the Pontiac Today.
