Vibes Take Home 4-2 Win Over Mancelona
The Rocky Mountain Vibes got a marvelous performance from pitcher Kent Stephens. The right-hander kept the Mancelona offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-2 Rocky Mountain victory at Torch Field. Stephens got the win, improving to 1-6. He gave up 3 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. Picking up the save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Tim Day.

Rocky Mountain used a clutch at-bat from Chad Ware to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Vibes ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Said losing manager Eric Craft: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."

The Vibes go to 31-46, putting them 10th in the Menard's A.
