In a low-scoring contest between the Belleville Bulls and the Pontiac Godfathers, Ken Wilson was the X factor. The Belleville right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Scot Dixon closed it out for his 16th save. The win puts the Bulls at 43-35, while the Godfathers drop to 39-39.
Wilson lasted 8 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits. The Belleville right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the 3A in complete games with 1, is now 5-4.
"Bottom line," said Pontiac skipper John Moss, "we didn't play well enough to win."
