Chukars Collect 7-5 Win Over Chiefs
The Idaho Falls Chukars picked up a win at Pipers Ballpark, knocking off the Caldwell Chiefs, 7-5, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Earnest McClure played a key role in the triumph. Gregg Carlson notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 4-3. With the victory, the Chukars upped their record to 50-30.

António Medina came through with a big-time hit for Idaho Falls. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 7-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Medina.
