Yellows Earn 5-4 Win Against Expos
The Yucca Valley Yellows beat the Niagara Falls Expos, 5-4, in 11 innings at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. Yucca Valley second baseman José Gallardo had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Mark Davis earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 3-3. Yucca Valley is 7th in the Menard's A with a record of 42-39.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Gallardo hit a fastball from Garry Davis for a run-scoring single. The Yellows, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Gallardo told the Yucca Valley News.
