Matlacha 4-2 Losers to Bulls
|
The Belleville Bulls topped the Matlacha Manatees, 4-2, in M3L Single A action at Belleville Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Belleville pitcher Donald Hamm. The 4th-place Bulls now sit at 44-37.
Brian Walls was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Belleville. The 22-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Chris Pate. It was his 27th RBI of the season.
"We want to make a habit of winning," Walls said after the game.
