Saunders Lifts Stingers to 8-1 Triumph
With left fielder Joe Saunders leading the charge, the Toledo Stingers defeated the Mexico City Blue Demons, 8-1, at Pacesetter Park. Saunders was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times. The hot start continues for the defending champion Stingers. This was their 8th win in 11 games.

The Stingers got a big at-bat from center fielder Elijah Smalls, who in the bottom of the third hit a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Stingers on top, 4-1.
