The Rocky Mountain Vibes got a good effort from starter Bill Holman in defeating the Idaho Falls Chukars at Bellevue Field. The final score was 4-1. Rocky Mountain has now won 4 straight.

The Chukars had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Vibes going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old center fielder Stephen Appleby came to the plate. Appleby hit a 3-run home run on a 2-1 fastball from Idaho Falls hurler Gabriel Ijzendoorn. It was Appleby's 10th home run of the year.

"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Holman.
