The Matlacha Manatees picked up a win at Fuller Park, topping the Niagara Falls Expos, 4-3. On the mound for Matlacha was left-hander Harry Marshall. He played a principal role in the triumph. Frederick Anderson was credited with the save for Matlacha, his 23rd of the season. The Manatees now own a record of 52-32.

Matlacha went up, 4-3, on Gustavo López's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run, which López hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Niagara Falls pitcher Garry Davis shaking his head.

"Harry can bring it," said Matlacha manager Markus Richardson.
