The Niagara Falls Expos picked up a win at Waterfall Park, topping the Rocky Mountain Vibes, 3-0. On the mound for Niagara Falls was left-hander Juan González. He played a principal role in the triumph. With the win, the Expos improved to 36-49.

Roberto Quintanilla had a big run-scoring double for the Expos in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Niagara Falls leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a sinker from Julián Lucero, who is tied for 6th in the 3A in strikeouts with 90, and swatted a double to center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Expos ahead, 2-0.

"I'm happy we won," said González. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
