Bulls Earn Win with Late Rally
|
The Belleville Bulls outlasted the Mancelona Torch, 7-6, in 10 innings. Belleville right fielder Ron Reed stood out with his performance. He was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Belleville reliever Scot Dixon picked up the win, upping his record to 5-6. Miguel Sandoval absorbed the loss. With the win, the Bulls have a record of 47-40.
The Bulls got a clutch hit from left fielder Brian Olsen. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bulls.
"This place was electric at the end," Olsen said.
