The Huntington Hermit Crabs earned a close win over the Rocky Mountain Vibes, thanks in part to Bill Hernández. The Huntington right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the 3A in innings pitched with 141.2, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Hernández yielded 2 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 9-7. Miguel López earned the save, his 19th, for the Hermit Crabs.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Hermit Crabs had to cash in when they had the chance.
