Laredo registered a win at Hawks Field by beating the Mancelona Torch, 6-3. Pitcher Lewis Jones was one reason why the Hawks triumphed. Laredo reliever Andy Lewis picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Jong-beom So absorbed the loss. Laredo now has a record of 51-37 with the win.

Laredo got a knockout punch from Tom Bennett. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Bennett told a Laredo News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
