The Alameda Airmen got a superb performance from pitcher Clay Smith, but the Belleville Bulls still won the game, 8-5. Smith threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. With the win, Belleville has a record of 48-40. Alameda falls to 47-41.

Belleville used the timely hitting of Dimacali Lontok to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bulls on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I like our moxie," said Bulls manager Rafael Avelar.
