The Rocky Mountain Vibes topped the Matlacha Manatees, 5-2, with youngster Joel Taylor playing a key role. Taylor was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Vibes in the win. Rocky Mountain bumps their record to 50-38 with the win.
Taylor had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Vibes went on to win.
"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Vibes manager Jaime Solís.
