Hawks Lose Late to Blue Dragons
|
Eli Crawford had a strong outing for the Levittown Blue Dragons against the Laredo Hawks at Hawks Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Jeffrey Dixon notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 6-3. Bill Thomas notched his 13th save of the season.
Levittown used a timely hit from David Miller to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Dragons ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.
Levittown manager Justin Broadfoot commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
The Blue Dragons now own a record of 55-34.
