The Idaho Falls Chukars beat the Pontiac Godfathers, 6-3, at Idaho Falls Park. Idaho Falls center fielder Edgar Sandoval had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Tomás Navarro earned his 3rd save, after closing out the game. Pontiac now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

Cataño, Puerto Rico-born Gustavo Alonso came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Chukars trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Idaho Falls on top.
