In a low-scoring clash between Niagara Falls and Washington, pitcher Andrew Carlson was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 win. Ning-qing Lok earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 1st. Niagara Falls is now 36-54, Washington 52-38.

Niagara Falls used a clutch hit from Luke Burton to snatch the win. The shortstop belted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Expos ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Carlson told the Niagara Falls Citizen.
