Walla Walla second baseman Joe Parker had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Parker was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, even as Levittown beat the Walleye, 4-3. Scotty Baker picked up the win with 8 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 6-9. Don Smith, who is tied for 7th in the 3A in saves with 11, earned the save for Levittown.

The Blue Dragons got a big hit from designated hitter John Gudmestad. In the bottom of the sixth, Gudmestad smacked a 2-run home run off Walla Walla pitcher Lu-po-teh Fong. It was his 12th home run of the season. Suddenly, the Blue Dragons were ahead, 4-3.

Gudmestad attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."

After today's action, Levittown sits at 37-55, while Walla Walla falls to 47-45.
